About the Mechanical Department:
Mechanical Engineering is considered to be one of the most diverse and versatile of the engineering disciplines. Mechanical Engineering contributes to modern standard of living and almost all products of modern life have contributions from mechanical engineers. The Department of Mechanical Engineering has been established since the inception of the institution in the year 2009 with a sanctioned intake of 60.The Department has well equipped laboratories, infrastructure and facilities. The Department has well experienced faculty.Students have 6 months industrial training in their final year for acquiring industrial field knowledge. Strength of the department is reflected in growth of the alumni.
we strive to produce mechanical engineering diploma graduates to face the industrial, societal challenges and build entrepreneurial skills through effective teaching methods.
M1. Impart fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering and technical skills to enhance overall academic performance of the students methodically, there by increasing their placement potential and capacity building to pursue higher studies.
M2. To disseminate technical knowledge through workshops, guest lectures, various curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities to enhance the skills among the students.
M3. To bind with industries through industrial visits, internship programs including seminars, workshops by industrial experts to improve industrial exposure and inculcate knowledge on entrepreneurship.
M4.Imbibe the students to participate in social activities to contribute towards the upliftment of the society.
